Magdalena Adamek performs Fragment in Richmond, Virginia

Don’t miss this chance to see a performance by Professor Magdalena Adamek with friends (Justin Alexander, percussion, Filipe Leitao, composer) on Wednesday, September 25th at 7:00PM in the Singleton Center for the Performing Arts. You’ll hear piano music by Chopin, jazz composers Brad Mehldau, Chick Corea, Polish film composer Zbigniew Preisner and others!

In addition to the rest of the set, the event will contain renditions of “Fragment” by John Psathas for percussion and piano and two innovative piano arrangements by Filipe Leitao to be performed synchronized with the following movies : “Don’t Be Square,” Animated short film by Isaac Braz, and “Flutterby,” Animated short film by Ruchirek Yui Somrit.
