Vivi Vassileva is well known to the audience of the Vienna Konzerthaus and is a prime example of a meteoric career: she is considered one of the leading percussion soloists, has received numerous international awards and first played her way into the hearts of her audience at the Vienna Konzerthaus as a "Great Talent" and then as Martin Grubinger's successor. Just like him, she likes to move between musical genres and has brought the Simply Quartet - a sparkling star of the string quartet future - and the multi-talented pianist Frank Dupree on board for her concert in December. They will perform a varied program with compositions by John Psathas, portrait artist Wynton Marsalis, as well as Peter Eötvös and Chick Corea.
