Grocer’s Apprentice (film score)
Overview
Sebastian Doyle's short film based on Fantasia's Sorcerer's Apprentice (with a NZ spin).
I created a 'raga' of sorts then reworked Paul Dukas' original score The Sorcerer's Apprentice - this time for sitar, tablas, and orchestra.
The orchestra in this soundtrack is the Victoria Univeristy of Wellington Orchestra, conducted by Peter Walls.
Sitar, synths and other percussion (as well as studio engineering and general creative brilliance) - David Downes.
Violin solo, - Douglas Beilman.
Percussion - Duncan Rae.
