Zahara, a concerto for saxophone and orchestra, was commissioned by Federico Mondelci. It was premiered byFederico Mondelci (saxophone) and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra(conducted by David Atherton) at the Michael Fowler Centre, Wellington, New Zealand, on 22nd September 2006.
This duo adaptation was created by the composer in 2024.
